You can learn how to set and update meeting agendas here.
Agendas are more than just a list of discussion points. They are essential road maps for meetings, outlining the associated topics and updates that team members need to address. Preparing a business meeting agenda can make all the difference between an engaging, productive meeting versus a chaotic waste of people's time.
Consider the goal of the meeting. What do you want the outcome to be? What do you want attendees to take away from the meeting? The answers to these questions will likely change depending on whether you’re planning a weekly huddle or a monthly check-in. In other words, agenda topics will vary depending on the meeting’s purpose.
A meeting agenda helps you set a clear purpose for the meeting and the participants' expectations about what will be discussed and allows the team to come to the meeting prepared. It gives the meeting structure and order providing a checklist to ensure all topics are covered.
To help you run effective and productive meetings, we've turbo charged our meeting module with an updated agenda feature.
We still provide a basic default meeting agenda, but now, you can reorder your agenda by dragging and dropping the meeting agenda items to reflect the order that meets your needs. And you can add further agenda items to suit your meeting and remove any default agenda items that are not needed.
For each agenda item, a module is created in the meeting event screen to record the conversations and notes raised against that agenda item.
If the agenda items list is re- ordered, the agenda modules will also re-order to reflect the agenda list order. And if you need to add a one-off agenda item during a meeting, you can, and then instantly record information in the agenda item's module.
When you close out a meeting event, the meeting's minutes will automatically be sent to all attendees via email and reflect the agenda items and the information recorded against each item.
