Always home
Clicking the waymaker w from anywhere on the platform will always take you to your homepage.
Navigating platform modules
To navigate between platform modules, click the navigation menu button in the top left of your screen to display the navigation menu window.
The module title of the module you are currently in will appear blue. In the above example, we're on the homepage, so home appears blue.
To navigate to another module, click (or press), the module title.
If you have access to more than 1 diagnostic, when you hover your mouse over diagnostics (or press it once), a sub-menu will appear allowing you to select the diagnostic you would like to view.
That's it... easy peasy.
User settings
In the top right of screen you will find your user settings button. Click this to open the user settings menu.
As you can see, you can access your user profile and company profile from the user settings menu.
If you're an admin, this is where you access your admin center from.
You can also access the academy and support center, as well as log a bug report or request a new feature or improvement.
Help
Clicking the help button displays a list of help articles and videos that relate to the module you are currently in. For example, if you were in the tasks module, you would see help articles and videos that relate to the task module. In the example below we're on the home page the list of help articles relates to the home page and some fundamentals.
Click on a video title to open the video. Clicking on a help article will open a new browser window and load the help article.
Quick actions
We're all about productivity at waymaker. So we've given you some quick actions that you can access anywhere on the platform. Create a goal, a task, or collaborate through waymaker's chat feature.
Quick action goals
To create a goal, click the quick action goal button.
Give the goal a title, set the status and function, and if the team drop-down is visible, assign a team. Finally, add the why now description and hit save. Goal created!
Quick action tasks
To view your tasks and task boards, click the quick action task button.
The list of your in-progress tasks are displayed under my task list. If you need to create a new task, click the add task button, or if you need to view the tasks on a particular task board, click the board's title.
Quick action chat
To open chat, click the chat button. If the button is blue this indicates you have unread messages and notifications. When the chat module opens, it will show the list of unread messages.
You can either mark the unread messages off as read, or to view your recently viewed channels and all the channels you are a member of, click the arrow next to unread messages and notifications title.
Take a diagnostic
When you can see the blue triangle, you have a diagnostic to take. Click the triangle to launch the diagnostic.
If you have more than 1 diagnostic to complete, when you click the triangle you will get the opportunity to choose which diagnostic you want to take first. Clicking the blue triangle in line with the diagnostic title will launch that diagnostic.
